Dr Abhimanyu Kar, MS, DNB Surgical Gastroenterology trainee presented a paper in the Award-Paper category titled “Surgical management of cystic duct stump stone or gall bladder remnant stone“. (Kar A, Gulati S, Mohammed S, Valappil V M, Bhavya B S, Bhattacharyya A, Ghatak S). This is our experience of this entity over a 5 year period. All the patients underwent open or laparoscopic gallbladder removal elsewhere and we could laparoscopically remove the remnant in most of the patients.

Dr Supriyo Ghatak also presented a talk on Laparoscopic Liver and Biliary Anatomy in the same conference as invited faculty.
